NoriDane A/S processes personal data relating to customers, partners and others we are interacting with, either online or physically through visits at our premises. 

In this privacy policy we explain what kind of personal data we process, for what purposes, and how we store such data. You will also find information on applicable rights of the data subjects, and how to make use of such rights.

The EU Data Privacy Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) is incorporated into Danish law through the Act of 15 June 2018 no 38 relating to the processing of personal data. We will do our utmost to ensure that personal data are processed securely and in line with applicable legislation. We will commit our suppliers to do the same.

In the following, we will provide information on the main categories of data we process, and for what purposes.

Customer and supplier data

NoriDane Foods A/S processes personal data when following up on its customers and suppliers. The customers and suppliers are mainly legal entities; hence the personal data mainly comprise the name and contact information of employees of these companies.

The purpose of the processing is to allow NoriDane Foods A/S to follow up on its customers and suppliers. The legal basis for such processing is GDPR article 6, 1 litra b, stating that processing of personal data may take place when being necessary to fulfil a contract with the data subject or to take steps at the requests of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. 

Cookies and web analysis

NoriDane Foods A/S uses cookies to enhance the user experience on its web sites (www.noridane.com).

Cookies are small text files that are stored on the computer when you visit and navigate on the web site. Most web browsers are pre-set to accept cookies. If you do not wish to approve such use, please change the settings on your web browser. If you deactivate the cookies, please note that it might reduce some of the functionalities.

We are using analysing tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel to analyse the traffic on our web sites. The data collected is processed by Google and Facebook as set out in their respective privacy guidelines.

The processing of personal data at NoriDane’s websites is voluntary. If you click on the text box that pop up on the site, you consent to such processing of personal data as described in this policy document.

 

Storing and disclosure of data

The personal data that NoriDane Foods A/S is processing is primarily stored on servers. For some applications, personal data are stored with providers of cloud services established in the US and Europe.

Data processors

NoriDane Foods A/S has engaged external service providers for some parts of its business. All processing personal data by such service providers on behalf of NoriDane, is based on a written data processing agreement.

Deletion of data

NoriDane Foods A/S has established routines to ensure that personal data are deleted once the purpose of the processing has been achieved. Procedures implemented for all processing of personal data in NoriDane Foods A/S.
 

Rights of data subjects

Individuals, who have their personal data processed by NoriDane Foods A/S, are entitled to access such data. If the personal data are incorrect or incomplete, or the processing is considered unlawful, the date subject may request that such data are corrected, deleted or supplemented. NoriDane Foods will respond to such requests within 30 days from receipt.
